For Filters Sake! ("FFS!", "we", "us") is a local air filter subscription service operating in Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We keep this simple and honest — the same way we run the rest of the business.
What we collect
- Contact information: your name, email address, and phone number, so we can confirm visits, deliver reminders, and reach you about your subscription.
- Service address: the address where we change or deliver your filters.
- Service details: your plan, filter size, number of furnaces, scheduling preferences, and any access notes you share with us (for example, "side door, friendly dog").
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number.
How we use it
- To provide the service: scheduling visits, delivering filters, and managing your subscription.
- To communicate with you: visit confirmations, swap-day reminders, receipts, and service updates.
- To send occasional marketing emails about our services — only with your consent, and every email includes an unsubscribe link, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
What we don't do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
- We do not share your information with third parties except the service providers needed to run the business (payment processing, email delivery, form handling), who are bound by their own privacy obligations.

- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
- Form delivery services — to send your scheduling form to our team securely
- Email service providers — to deliver confirmations and reminders
- Website hosting — our site is hosted on Netlify
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you're a customer, plus whatever period is required for tax and accounting records under Canadian law. If you cancel and want your information deleted sooner, just ask.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you can ask us at any time to:
- See the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that's inaccurate
- Delete your information (subject to legal record-keeping requirements)
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications
